This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how Hill Electric Inc. (“Hill Electric”, “us”, or “we”) collects information from you when you use the website www.hillelectric.net and as a customer, what Hill Electric does with the information that Hill Electric collects, how information is shared and what you can expect from Hill Electric regarding the privacy of your information.

Personal Information We Collect

Hill Electric may collect certain information that personally identifies you when you voluntarily provide it to us, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number (“Personal Information”). We collect such Personal Information when you email us or submit an inquiry using the “Contact Us” submission page or Request a Quote feature. Hill Electric collects information through cookies or beacons but none of the information collected through cookies or beacons is personally identifiable.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

California Privacy Rights

Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide Personal Information in obtaining products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us once a calendar year information which includes a list of all third parties to which Hill Electric has disclosed Personal Information, as defined in California Civil Code Section 1798.83(e) during the preceding year, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year.
