Fifteen years after Walter Hill founded Hill Electric in Anderson, SC, Langston Construction was founded in 1969, nearby in Piedmont. These two companies have been faithfully helping to build and grow our state through a commitment to excellence for over half a century. What’s more, for roughly 30 of those years, Langston Construction has been a faithful partner to Hill Electric.

According to Hill President Trey Thomas, “Langston is one of the few true industrial contractors in the Upstate that can complete complex jobs around working industrial facilities. We have completed numerous projects at a pharmaceutical facility in Greenwood that other general contractors turned down. Langston has the experience and knowledge to get the projects completed in a safe and timely manner.”

Langston defines themselves as builders, innovators and partners. They work to deliver what they promise, which is a safe, trouble-free project that satisfies the budget and goals of the client.

When we asked Evan Sowell, Principal of Langston Construction, why they count Hill Electric as a valuable partner, he shared,

“Langston Construction is proud of the relationship we have forged with Hill Electric over the past 30 years. Their expertise in industrial construction has allowed our team to deliver projects from the ground up to aggressive 24/7 shutdowns.

Since their founding to their current leadership with Mike and Trey, we feel that their core values and quality of work align with ours. We can count on Hill Electric to deliver the results that are required from a General Contractor’s perspective and that meet the client’s objectives. We look forward to the next 30 years of opportunities and success with Hill Electric.”

Hill’s partnerships all have overlapping core values. With Langston, we trust their experience, customer-focused mindset, safety, planning process, and more. Thank you to Langston Construction for being a partner in our work. We look forward to our continued partnership, and thus, our continued success in serving South Carolina.
