Hill Electric President and COO, Trey Thomas, had the opportunity to speak on “Built with Billd, a podcast that recently ranked Women Talk Construction in their top 11 construction podcasts.

Trey started out by giving a brief rundown of Hill Electric’s mission, the history of the company, and wrapped up by touching on how the team at Hill banded together to help a client in need and get over 1,000 employees back to work after a devastating tornado destroyed their manufacturing plant in 2020.

One of the main points Trey made during his time on “Built with Billd” was the family dynamic at Hill Electric, a top favorite thing about working at Hill. This dynamic extends beyond just the employees, as cultivating client relationships and making sure they are receiving the best quality of service is one of our main priorities. Helping clients maintain their process equipment and building through equipment upgrades, capital projects, and working hand in hand with key plant personal to accomplish in a safe and efficient manner.

Trey also explored how he was able to learn from the generations of Hill Electric employees before him. Hill employees take great pride in their work, with many having an impressive tenure of over 40 years. This allows the expert knowledge and trade secrets to be passed down through the years, helping to nurture the next generation.

In short, Trey enjoys being able to solve complex problems and help his clients’ manufacturing processes run as smoothly as possible. Getting to do that with the Hill Electric family is just the icing on top.
