“At Hill Electric, we improve the processes of our clients and positively affect the lives of all employees,” says Trey Thomas, President and COO. In other words, process is extremely important to us, as it lays the foundation for our clients’ successes, as well as our own.
When a client contacts us, the project begins with the project manager who will set up a visit with the client to assess the work that needs to be done. After determining the client’s needs, Hill Electric will develop an official scope of work, which includes cost and timeline.
This is usually a crucial point in which clients quickly notice the Hill Electric Difference: When we provide a quote and timeline, we do our best to stick to it. We don’t intentionally hide any costs, and we do everything in our power to stay within our timeline. There’s no guesswork on your end.
When the installation or service begins, the foreman or superintendent is then in charge while the project manager continues to oversee the project and check for progress. The project manager stays in close contact with the client, along with administering the billing.
When finishing the project, the project manager will create a punch list, and then after that work is complete, the team will demobilize. Finally, the project manager will check back with the client to address any warranty issues and make sure the customer is satisfied.
Our process is one example of how we live and work by our core value of integrity. We take our job seriously, and we treat our clients with honesty and respect. After all, when the client is satisfied, our employees are satisfied. That’s the Hill Electric Difference.
